SCOPE OF DUTIES
Verification of Conformity (VoC) Programme: The Central Bank of Libya issued the Resolution N° 96 of the year 2015 on April 30, 2015 laying down the obligation to present a Certificate of Inspection issued by an international inspection company for all goods imported into Libya as a condition to open a documentary letter of Credit (L/C).
OBJECTIVES
- Verification that goods presented match the description in the import documents
- Checking of goods against the list of banned goods
- Issuance of the certificate of inspection secured with an hologramme for validation of the documentary L/C.
